Circle of Moms

I am so excited! Apple Tree House is on the Circle of Moms search for the top 25 Mom's Shops.

The list is a real who's who of talented moms, including Ashley of Li'l Blue Boo :)

Even though I have only been on there about a day, I have already gathered 50 votes and the last time I checked, that puts me in 39th place (at the time this was written).  I would really love to make it into the top 25.... if I do, I will offer a giveaway of a custom 8 inch Apple Dumpling Doll to celebrate!  It is the best way I know how to show my deep appreciation for all the friends of Apple Tree House.  All blog followers will be eligible to enter the giveaway if I reach my goal of being in the top 25, so please spread the word and vote daily!

The 1st "custom" Apple Dumpling (for my daughter!), getting ready for bed in her Melamoose sleeper

You can vote once a day thru May 2nd, no registration is required, and you can vote for more than one shop if you like!  Thanks for all your support....

Upload 4/28

April has been a whirlwind month at the Apple Tree House!  Here is the group that will be available on Thursday, April 28th:

Charlie and Lola the twins, 12 inches and wearing The Melamoose Co.,  $310 for the set

Periwinkle, a meduim tan skin blue eyed fun haired 8 inch Apple Dumpling,  $88

Kristin, an 8 inch Apple Dumpling with chestut hair and green eyes wearing The Melamoose Co.'s apple sleeper, $88

Strawberry, a 12 inch blue eyed redhead wearing The Melamoose Co., $165

This will be a dual style upload. Periwinkle, Kristin, and Strawberry will be available on Bigcartel at 7 pm EDT

The twins, Charlie and Lola will be available as a SET comment style on Facebook.  They will be $310 plus shipping.  On Thursday, April 28 at 8 pm EDT, I will post a pic of the twins on my Fan Page.  Simply leave a comment under their picture if you are interested in purchasing them.  I would really love to see them be able to stay together forever, just as a brother and sister should, so if you only want one doll please refrain from commenting under their picture.  There will be another blond doll in the next upload for sure, I have over 6 pounds of blond mohair so there will be lots of blond dolls coming up!  At 9 pm EDT, I will message the name that is randomly chosen.  Please make sure I can message you thru FB or make sure to leave your e-mail in your comment so I can contact you.   I will contact the winning name shortly after 9.  Payment will need to be made within 1 hour or I will draw another name.

Please, no "angeling" (enlisting help to purchase) for any of the dolls.  If you are not available at upload time, please rest assured that there will be more dolls available at another time.  Please also make sure you understand my policies ( ) ahead of time to avoid any confusion.  If you have a question, please ask!

Also, I am now on the Circle of Moms!  Please click on the badge in the top right corner or on the link  to vote for me and your other favorite mom owned shops.... no registration required!  Thank you :)

Contest Winners!!

Thank you so much to everybody who took the time to enter the contest!  I loved seeing pics of the dolls and kids, and the notes were just heart warming.  There were so many wonderful entries for the contest that it made it very difficult to choose a couple of winners, so we chose a bunch!  These 5 were loved by the whole group of judges, and here they are in no particular order:

Kim R.

Hallie G.

Cassie A.

Kelly B.

Julie L.

Please e-mail or FB message me your addresses and I will get your surprises mailed out to you asap.

If the photo winners were tough to pick, the "dibs" prize was impossible to pick.  I am so touched that there are so many families that would love to have an AppleTreeHouse doll join them.  I put all the names in my favorite hat and picked out just one for now (but I will have to do this again!!)  The "dibs" prize goes to Deborah B.!  Here's what she wrote:

**"I absolutely LOVE your dolls! They are so funky and colourful, not like any other dolls Ive seen before. I first came across them when I stumbled upon the Lil Blue Boo blog. You did such an amazing job replicating the likeness of Sienna, I knew I just had to try to get one or my almost 3 year old daughter. Unfortunately, living in Australia makes tyring to get one very difficult, as they are usually listed in the very early hours of the morning with the time difference. I know my daughter Zali (great name for a new ATH doll I think!) would love a ATH doll, she likes to look with me through your photos on facebook at all the wonderful work you have done, she says there pretty. She loves dolls already, and often takes one out to the shops or visiting Meema and Peepa. I just know a ATH doll would become her favourite thing very quickly. Also, today she fell over and got a BIG black eye at childcare, dont you think a gorgeous new doll would make everything all better? LOL
Keep up the fantastic work! One day one of your fantastic dolls will be mine (well, ours tee hee!)
D Br and Z"***

And yes Deborah, I think a gorgeous new doll can make a lot of things better!

Thanks again for making this so much fun!  I have spent a lot of time working on a little something new that I hope to be able to show you in a week or so... My kids are on spring break until the 10th, so I probably won't be online too much but I will be sewing as much as I can!
